As I was practicing organ this morning before church, I put Adeline on a blanket on the floor nearby. As she relaxed there on her back, I went through the music, listening to her not-too-convincing complaints at not being the absolute center of attention. Well, I should have listened better. The next time I looked at her, she was on her tummy, as happy as a clam! She had rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time, and no one got to see it! And try as we may, we can't get her to do it again quite all the way - though it's just a silly little arm that gets in her way! But she is definitely on her way to life on the roll.
It was a big day in other ways, too. The voters voted to change the service time at St. James to accommodate starting Sunday services in Lapeer. So come March 9, we will have 9:00 church at St. James and 11:00 church at the Community Center in Lapeer for anyone who wants to come. Our prospect list continues to grow, and we have reason to believe we will have at least seven families for the first services as of right now! To God be the glory!
And also, butterhorns were introduced to the St. James family for the first time at the potluck. An instant hit, as all you who know butterhorns would expect! : )
So we are ready to enjoy a night of rest here. Sorry no pictures this time.
